The 404 or Not Found error message is a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) standard response code, in computer network communications, to indicate that the client was able to communicate with a given server, but the server could not find what was requested. The web site hosting server will generate a "404 Not Found" web page when a user attempts to follow a broken or dead link; hence the 404 error is one of the most recognizable errors encountered on the World Wide Web. Inspired by Grand Fury and thinking on how to communicate with the class using references we all know and use, I decided to use Google's error to talk about the lack of Justice in regards of police brutality. I was interested in making a statement that Justice has not been found since there has not been enough efforts to address this issue. I have decided that for issue-related images I will not use graphic content (unless for informational purposes) since they reinforce the imagery of violence, black bodies being hurt/killed. I was also inspired on this toy protest, using imagery that is not directly related to the issue to talk about them. I also wanted to comment on Internet aesthetics. Some of the questions that drove this graphic are: why the Google robot is white? Why the Web, and specially social media platforms as well as Google always look so pristine without any sign of difference?
